Usually these spam posts have a link to some site, and the link includes a text string. That is, it is not just a URL, there is some text in the tag between the <a href=...> and the closing </a>

Don't know if there is some way to zero in on these.... I don't even know how to do that in these forums. Will this work?

See, I can't stick an HTML string in a post but this spammer has figured how to. Maybe he zeroes in on forums using whatever forum software you guys are using.

There is no way to wade through all that nonsense. Come back in a few weeks when the spammers die off.
The excuse of, "I read it on FederalSoup..." won't work. Please do your due diligence.

none of the spam seems to get removed so i would imagine spammers see this forum as a good place to post.

Actually, if you put url in "[ ]" and a /url in the brackets at the end, you can do as you describe.
